Claire is the Chairperson of Shannon’s Hopeline and a compliance manager at the corporate level for a large Irish public company. Claire is a Chartered Accountant and holds diplomas in Compliance Management and Forensic Accounting.
Mark is a Director of Shannon’s Hopeline and a Director of media agency Mediaworks, which is a part of Core, Ireland’s largest marketing communications company. Mark lectures on the Irish media market and provides presentation skills training through Core Learning. He is also actively involved in mentoring.
Tanya is a Director of Shannon’s Hopeline. She is an Early Childhood Educator for a well-established creche in Cavan, ABC Montessori Childcare. She is qualified in all aspects of childcare. It has been her passion to work with children for as long as she canremember.
Joe has been a GP since the 1980’s and is based in Rathmines, though was also based in Dublin 8 until last year. He had known Shannon well, and was totally stunned by her suicide and wanted to help prevent any other family’s grief by joining this great initiative. He has been on the council of the ICGP [Irish College of General Practitioners] as well as being on its first Board for 3 years.
Hugh is the Secretary of Shannon’s Hopeline's Board of Directors. He is Communications Officer at the Irish Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy. He is a full member of the Public Relations Institute of Ireland. He holds a Bachelors in New Media and English from UL, as well as a Masters in Film Production and Direction from NUIG. He has a range of experience in industries such as Media, Education, Youth Work, Non-Profit and B2B Sales.
Aidan Delaney is a Chartered Accountant and Taxation Consultant and has spent most of his working life in Practice, initially as a sole practitioner and latterly as a partner in a six-partner practice, Roberts Nathan, specialising in advising small and medium sized business in all areas of accounting and taxation relevant to their business’es. I am now operating again as a sole practitioner.
I also serve as a member of the Quality Assurance Committee of Chartered Accountants Ireland whose brief is to in ensure the implementation and maintenance of the highest ethical and professional standards by all members of Chartered Accountants Ireland in the course of their professional duties.
Emily is originally from the United States and moved to Ireland in 2019. She recently graduated from NUIG with a master’s in public advocacy, where she focused on mental health policy. She currently works in marketing for a start-up company, ichoose. She also holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology and communication studies from James Madison University in Virginia. She has experience fundraising for various charity organizations like Amnesty International and Doctors without Borders.
